Mark has posted some stats on the uptake of Adobe Mobile Packager, with the main indicator being that installs have reached 100,000.
Coupled with an apparent increase in player downloads through the Adobe Version Checker that’s a part of the Flash Lite Distributable Player solution, things are trending in the right direction here.
The recording from my Adobe eSeminar from last week is now available online. “Creating and Packaging Flash Mobile Applications” is a walk-through of creating and testing apps in Flash CS4 Professional and Device Central CS4, and packaging those apps with Adobe Mobile Packager 1.1 – aimed at developers and designers who are new to mobile. Via Mark: Adobe Mobile Packager 1.1 is now ready for download. This version includes some big improvements in workflow and functionality, and makes life a lot easier for Flash mobile developers wanting to package their content for the FL3.1 Distributable Player on selected S60 and Windows Mobile devices.

Via Mark: Adobe’s over-the-air delivery of the Flash Lite 3.1 Distributable Player has grown in reach to 13 countries, covering 31 Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile devices. This includes availability all the way Down Under as well
